ISOLA DEI TESORI is a Welsh Corgi Pembroke and Welsh Corgi Cardigan kennel whose dogs live with families in many European countries. We raise puppies with daily personal attention, age-appropriate care and early socialisation, and help families prepare for life with their new companion. We stay in touch with our puppies’ owners as their dogs grow.

Our approach to breeding
Our aim is to raise physically healthy, mentally balanced dogs while preserving the qualities of each breed. When considering a breeding pair, we pay attention to ancestry, temperament and conformation in relation to the relevant Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) breed standard.
Welsh Corgi Pembrokes and Welsh Corgi Cardigans are two separate breeds. We consider their individual characteristics when discussing our dogs with prospective owners, and we look beyond coat colour when helping a family choose a puppy.
Our dogs undergo scheduled breeding evaluations conducted by FCI representatives. Alongside pedigree and conformation, we pay attention to temperament and development. You are welcome to ask about a puppy’s parents, their registration documents and the breeding evaluations relevant to the dogs you are considering.
Daily life at our kennel
Our dogs are part of our family’s daily life. Personal involvement means observing how they eat, rest, interact and respond to changes, as well as maintaining the spaces in which they live.
The kennel has dedicated areas for mothers and puppies, secure outdoor spaces for exercise and play, and facilities that help us maintain a consistent care routine. Regular cleaning, disinfection and video monitoring support our daily supervision.
As puppies grow, their environment and routine change with their needs. Rest, feeding, human contact and opportunities to explore all have a place in their day. We spend time getting to know each puppy instead of relying only on photographs or a brief impression.
How we socialise our puppies
Socialisation at ISOLA DEI TESORI begins with regular, gentle contact with people and appropriate interaction with other dogs. We introduce experiences gradually and observe how each puppy responds, allowing time for curiosity, confidence and rest.
Puppies differ even within the same litter. One may approach a new situation immediately, while another prefers to watch first. These everyday observations help us explain their developing personalities to future owners.
We see early socialisation as the beginning of an ongoing process. Before departure, we discuss the puppy’s familiar routine and experiences so the new family can continue with patient introductions and consistent training.
Routine veterinary examinations and daily care
Our dogs undergo planned veterinary examinations, including ultrasound examinations of the internal organs and laboratory analyses of blood and stool samples. These routine examinations form part of our ongoing care for the dogs in our kennel.
Our puppies receive veterinary attention, vaccinations appropriate to their age, and treatment for internal and external parasites. We monitor their appetite, growth, activity and general wellbeing every day. Before departure, we explain their vaccination and treatment records, current food, feeding routine and the next steps in their care.
Clear information helps you prepare for arrival and share the puppy’s history with your own veterinarian. Our support with everyday care continues after the move; veterinary questions requiring an examination should be addressed with your local veterinary practice.
Helping you choose a corgi
A good match begins with a conversation about your life. Tell us about your household, other animals, experience with dogs and the time you can devote to your puppy. Your preferred breed, sex and appearance matter, alongside temperament and your expectations for life together.
As breeders of both Welsh Corgi Pembroke and Welsh Corgi Cardigan puppies, we can discuss the dogs you are considering individually. We share recent photographs and videos and explain the differences we observe between littermates.
If you are interested in showing or breeding, mention this early. We can discuss pedigree and the puppy’s development, while recognising that an assessment of a young puppy describes potential rather than guaranteed adult qualities or show results.

Documents and a written agreement
We work with puppy owners under a written purchase agreement. Before a reservation is confirmed, we discuss the chosen puppy, price, payment arrangements, documents and proposed handover or delivery.
Our puppies leave with the following identification and records:
- A puppy registration certificate.
- A veterinary passport with vaccination and treatment records.
- A microchip, with its identification details recorded in the puppy’s documents.
If an export pedigree is needed, we discuss the application process, timing and any additional cost separately. Requirements for international travel are considered for the puppy’s destination before arrangements are finalised.

Dogs bred at ISOLA DEI TESORI live with families in many European countries. We stay in touch with their owners, receive photographs and videos, and enjoy following our dogs’ lives as they grow. This ongoing connection with families across Europe is an important part of our work as breeders.
International puppy delivery is discussed individually with our transport partners. Tell us your country and city so we can check possible arrangements, estimated costs and the documents needed for the journey.
Departure and arrival plans depend on the puppy’s readiness, applicable travel requirements and the transporter’s schedule. We confirm the arrangements with you and explain how to prepare for the handover.
Support after your puppy comes home
The move to a new home is an important transition for both a puppy and their family. We help you prepare with information about familiar food, daily routines and the experiences your puppy has already had.
After arrival, you are welcome to contact us with questions about settling in, everyday care, training and development. We enjoy receiving photographs and videos and staying in touch as our puppies grow.
Knowing the puppy from their earliest weeks allows us to share useful context with you. Our relationship with an owner is an ongoing conversation, and we want you to feel comfortable asking questions.
